💡 Why Did We Build the DynoSure OBD to DB9 Converter?
Many commercial OBD-II to DB9 cables are either prohibitively expensive or use non-standard, proprietary pinouts that do not match standard CAN bus analysis tools. This makes connection and power routing difficult and prone to errors.
We built the DynoSure OBD to DB9 Converter using the industry-standard wiring map. It routes the vehicle’s standard CAN lines and battery power directly to the correct pins on your diagnostic tool, allowing you to connect and power your devices directly from the vehicle’s diagnostic port without additional wiring.
